This three-drawer chest of drawers is an ode to essential form, a study in proportion, weight, and grain.
Carved from solid French elm, its presence is both earthy and lyrical, revealing a reverence for the material that aligns with Pierre Chapo’s early work. Every line is intentional, every surface invites the hand. Likely crafted in the 1970s, this piece echoes Chapo’s ethos of radical simplicity, where function is inseparable from sculpture and joinery becomes the language of design.
